I'm back!

I've been bouncing around between Twitter and my other blog account blogsunlocked.wordpress.com. Not to mention reading numberous blogger articles.

Today, I learned what a botnet is. It's common sense really. I guess I wasn't thinking about it hard enough.

I'm on the hunt this week for Network Security pros and ERP articles. In ERP there is only so much to say...but Network Security, there are so many avenues to go down, it's just finding the right blogger/article to roll with.

In other news, I was at the doctor yesterday and saw nice advertising piece for a local Pilates salon and the cost for 10 visits was $1800.00. What the hell is that? I am in the wrong business!

Ending the day on a GOOD note!

03/31: Signed on two fantastic minds in the world of ERP and ERP/BI. This month's newsletters are going to be quite juicy. ERP & BI have to be my two favorite topics thus far.

Still looking for a general IT article that is fun yet informative as well as something for the Virtualization newsletter. Tick Tock...Tick Tock..

Taking a crack at this...

03/30/09:
Today I am searching for ERP and (storage) Virtualization bloggers. The pressure is on to find content but I can't find the right content unless I understand the solution.

ERP
For the last four months, I have been educating myself on the ERP industry and doing well. Also, I've been talking to bloggers and small business folk whose specialty is ERP. Generally, they report that they are looking for content that will educate these IT Professionals on cost, implemenation, best practices, training, resource planning, etc.

Virtualization
As for Virtualization, I understand that there are three hot topics under this:
- Network Virtualization: splitting up bandwidth into independant pieces, like partitioning a drive.
- Storage Virtualization: SANs - haven't grasped this entirely yet.
- Server Virtualziation: taking many servers and reducing them onto virtual machines.

My focus is on storage virtualization but I seem to be crossing my understanding across all three.
